Job Description

This position is for a Software Engineer within the MFC division. You will join a network of software professionals working on cutting-edge technologies across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include solving complex challenges related to:

• Aircraft flight command and control
• Air traffic control
• Healthcare
• Homeland defense

You will work with technologies such as embedded systems and desktop applications, with opportunities to engage in multiple programs through a matrix engineering structure.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded and desktop software applications using C/C++
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Develop software for embedded multi-core systems
• Create desktop applications for sensor emulation and countermeasures
• Design GUI interfaces for data and user display
• Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout development

Ideal Candidates

• Experience with Linux OS and internships
• Strong understanding of software configuration management
• Proficiency in full software lifecycle development
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on science and math
