Job summary

Lockheed Martin’s EADGE-T team is upgrading airborne missile defense software for an international customer. You will decompose roadmap features, design and test software, and review code in a collaborative, agile setting. Local Colorado Springs candidates are preferred, with travel to CONUS/OCONUS possible.

The role emphasizes SDLC discipline, modern tooling, and security-conscious development. You will interface with an international team and contribute to a high-stakes defense program.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience with RHEL/Windows.
  • Experience working in agile environments (Kanban/Scrum).
  • Extensive experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience with version control and collaboration tools (e.g. Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence).
  • Comprehensive understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (unit tests, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 5+ years of experience or equivalent education
  • Ability to travel OCONUS
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance

WHAT WE’RE DOING

Come join the EADGE-T team and be part of an effort to upgrade the program’s technology and bring new capabilities to the UAE customer. The EADGE-T system is an integrated air missile defense, air battle management capability for the UAE integrating existing sensors, weapons as well as new capabilities.

Standard Job Description

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (Git, GitLab, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and regression testing expertise
  • Cybersecurity knowledge for software products (user authentication, data encryption) and secure development handling of classified information
  • Active Secret Clearance
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00
