Job summary

慨正橡扯 is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Rotary & Mission Systems team. You will develop cutting-edge real-time processing software, working alongside domain experts in a dynamic Agile environment.

This full-time position based in Moorestown Township requires a minimum of 5 years' software development experience and proficiency in Object-Oriented C++. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a SECRET level security clearance.

The Work

As a Software Engineer in the Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems group, you will develop real‑time processing software in support of product lines. You will work as part of an Agile team with domain experts from Hardware, Software, Subsystems, and Systems Engineering to understand requirements, establish architecture and design, implement sound solutions, develop unit tests, and support integration and sustainment activities.

This position requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level and is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with a concentration in computer science courses
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
• Experience with Object‑Oriented C++ programming
• Experience with automated test tools and techniques, static code analysis, and embedded applications
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level; U.S. citizenship required

Desired Skills

• Experience with software modeling (UML) and architecture
• Experience developing system and software requirements and design
• Understanding and application of design patterns
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with scripting skills (e.g., bash, Python)
• Experience with code optimization for real‑time systems

Security Clearance Statement

Work Setting

Onsite full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at the designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule

Schedule for this position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $57,800—$110,800.
