Job summary

Verily Health is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve FDA-regulated software across the full stack. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced healthcare data environment.

Requirements include a BS in CS/CE or related field and 5–8 years in Java, Scala, Python, Go or JavaScript/TypeScript, plus experience with full-stack web apps and a willingness to learn new languages.

• Full-stack web applications development.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8 years of one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, Scala, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Full-stack web applications development.
• Interest in and ability to learn other programming languages and technologies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go.
• Experience developing full-stack products is a plus.
• Experience working within an agile organization (we use Jira extensively).
• Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills to complex issues.
• Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn other programming languages and technologies as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $173,500-$195,500 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
