Qualifications

  • Requires a TS/SCI clearance to begin employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented and functional programming approaches.
  • Proficiency with Java and modern frameworks (Spring, Angular).
  • Experience with REST, web services, and service-based development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively create mission-critical software applications for users in coordination with design and development teams.
  • Provide software design and development expertise, using test-driven and iterative methodologies.
  • Work with teammates to maintain multi-year on-time, on-schedule deliveries.
  • Support test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline.
  • Communicate effectively and solve problems in a collaborative, mission-first culture.

This arrangement will offer teammates the maximum opportunity for contribution, and exchange of solutions and technologies.Responsibilities:Collaboratively create mission critical software applications for users, whom we coordinate with heavily for design and development to ensure we bring the right product to make our users efficient and effective in the execution of their mission.Provide software design and development expertise in support of new application development, use test driven and iterative methodologies, and work with teammates to maintain our team’s multi-year track record of on time and on schedule deliveries.Have excellent technical expertise, to be highly self-directed and motivated, and collaborate respectfully with their teammates, always keeping user mission first.You will be part of a responsive team where communication skills and the ability to solve problems are critical to our success.Work with highly motivated teammates that will support and push you and will expect reciprocal action on your part.Culture of sharing information amongst teammates and management teamBe dedicated to mission and product successParticipate in new development starting with requirements analysis and design.During the development phase provide a technical solution compliant with the design and interface definitions.Provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the soft ware baseline.Be self-motivated understanding technical concepts, have good communication skills, and able and willing to collaborate on technical items with the larger team.Be familiar with the good development and configuration management practices and have previous development experience.Qualifications:A “TS/SCI” clearance is required to begin employment.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (computer science, information technology, or related field) and a minimum of 5 years of related work.Experience with both Object Oriented and Functional Programming approachesExperience with Java, JMS, Angular, Hibernate, Camel, SpringExperience with RESTExperience with Web servicesExperience in service-based developmentExperience with Messaging Technologies like ActiveMQ, Kafka, or similar productsExperience with Software Testing (e.g., Junit, Automated Test Tools, etc.)Experience with Linux shell scripting and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, etc.)Experience with socket interface communications and/or Java Network ProgrammingExperience with Java Security and Cryptology (PKI Certificates)Experience with Linux operating systemsRecognized subject matter expert.Experience managing large projects.Experience coaching, reviews and delegates work to lower-level technical team members.Experience working with limited oversight from manager.Experience with problems which are difficult and often complex.Experience influencing others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.Desired:Experience with AMQP, EJBs, Java Threads, JDBC, React, JSON, and XMLExperience with relational, noSQL, and file-based storage productsSecurity + CertificationUnderstanding of Amazon Web ServicesFamiliarity with Gitlab and CI/CD PipelinesFamiliarity with KubernetesExperience with software configuration management processes and toolsKnowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
