Job summary

VF is seeking a Senior Commerce Engineer to lead architecture and development of scalable Shopify solutions across multiple storefronts. You will own end-to-end integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, and marketing platforms, guiding a mix of full-time and contract engineers.

You will mentor juniors, drive the technical roadmap, ensure performance, security, and compliance, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in web development, including 5+ years focused on Shopify and Shopify Plus.
Proven experience integrating Shopify with Salesforce, SAP, Adyen, PayPal, or custom APIs.
Experience with headless commerce, Shopify Hydrogen, and React-based storefronts.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of eCommerce data flows, order management, and inventory systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

The Senior Commerce Engineer will be responsible for leading software engineering teams in designing and implementing cutting-edge eCommerce solutions for VF. The role will collaborate with product, support, and other engineering teams to deliver best-in-class software solutions and will be responsible for leading a team of full-time and contract professionals across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, hands-on, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate about software engineering.
