Job summary

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build platforms for enterprise content delivery using headless CMS, GraphQL, and static site generation.

You will develop AWS-based infrastructure with CloudFormation, automated builds, and CI/CD pipelines, and craft API microservices with NodeJS/ExpressJS. You will contribute to front-end work using React and participate in code reviews, while delivering customer-facing applications in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 60 months of experience in the Software Engineer field or related occupation.
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and modern CMS platforms.
• Experience with static site generation and CI/CD pipelines (Git-based tools).

Responsibilities

• Build platforms for delivering enterprise content using headless CMS, GraphQL, and static site generation.

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Mason, OH is $141,918.00-$233,300.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Build platforms for delivering enterprise content through sites, leveraging the latest headless CMS, GraphQL, and static site generation technologies to provide an end-to-end publishing, delivery, measurement, and reporting platform for the business. Develop infrastructure through CloudFormation scripts implementing automated builds and CI/CD. Develop automation test scripts, writing API micro services using NodeJS and ExpressJS. Responsible for delivering customer facing applications. Front end development with React framework. Contribute ideas, concepts, best practices, code reviews, and code development to deliver successful timelines in a fast paced enterprise environment..

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

2. Working with AWS serverless architecture including Lambda, API gateway, SQS and cloud deployments including CloudFormation, Chef or Puppet

3. Working with SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern CMS platforms

4. Working with static site generation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using Git-based repositories and tools including Jenkins, Bamboo, and Cloud infrastructure

5. Working with application monitoring, logging, and performance tracking using Datadog, Splunk, or logging frameworks
