Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Software Engineer to provide SYSTEMS ENGINEERING and TECHNICAL ADVISORY (SETA) services to an IC R&D customer, applying research to real-world solutions with world-wide impact. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing a financial dashboard, gathering requirements, designing features, training users, and documenting applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum Bachelor’s and five (5) years of computer systems, software, or systems engineering experience; Master and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and analytics.
• Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (have current CompTIA Security+ certification).
• Experience developing web applications and web services using ASP.NET and C#.
• Experience using MVC, JSON, WPF, HTML, CSS3, and VB.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Applications.
• Competent with SQL Server (or other RDBMS) and TFS (or other source control).
• Knowledge of or desire to learn government financial concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Active TS/SCI with poly.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
