Job summary
Radiance Technologies, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer in Dayton, Kentucky to support scientific computing applications and EO/IR sensor modeling. You will develop solutions in Rust and MATLAB, collaborate with teams, and optimize software performance.
The ideal candidate is a US Citizen with a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and experience in software development on Linux/Windows. This role requires strong programming skills and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications
- US Citizen, eligible and willing to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Experience with scientific programming and computational software development.
- Proficiency with one or more compiled programming languages.
- Experience developing software in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scientific computing software applications.
- Evaluate EO/IR camera models and improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Design, develop, and integrate solutions into existing frameworks.
- Convert and optimize MATLAB code into Rust applications.
- Support deployment and operational use of developed software.
