Nightwing is seeking a Software Engineer onsite in Maryland to design and build scalable, distributed software systems using modern ML and AI-driven analytics. You will work with microservices, containers, and cloud-native architectures to support mission-critical operations.

The role requires a STEM degree, expertise in C++/Python, Kubernetes/Podman, and secure DevSecOps practices. Candidates must have TS/SCI with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required.
• Proven expertise in scalable and distributed systems development with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Helm, Podman) and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python and Linux-based development workflows.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithm design.
• Familiarity with secure DevSecOps workflows, CI/CD automation, and Git.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for innovation.
• TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph and US citizenship are required.

Responsibilities
