Job summary

Aqua IT seeks a software professional to design, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical solutions in a SAFe Agile environment. The role collaborates with Product Owners, QA, and architecture teams to deliver secure, compliant code and robust documentation.

The candidate will participate in deployments, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring high-quality software with strong traceability and performance.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI Poly.
Experience in integrating open-source solutions within web applications.
Proficient in DevOps practices and version control (GitLab).
Familiar with Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, increments).
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, Chief Architect and development teams in design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions.
Participate in SAFe Agile workflows including daily coordination, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
Contribute to deployment activities and ensure DoD 8570 compliance where applicable.
Assess tickets, test cases, and acceptance criteria to ensure quality delivery.
Document technical solutions and maintain code coverage above 80%.
