Cartesia is hiring a Software Engineer to advance our real-time multimodal intelligence. You will design and build the low-latency inference stack and work with research and product teams to ship cutting-edge capabilities.

We're an in-person team with global offices; visa sponsorship available; you will shape our products and infrastructure for scalable, high-performance AI across devices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software, product, or ML platform engineering.
• Craft mindset with clean, maintainable code.
• Backend in Go/Python, frontend in Next.js.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Technical leadership capable of zero-to-one work.
• Bonus: ML/generative models experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low latency, scalable model inference and serving stack.
• Collaborate with research and product engineers to translate research into products.
• Develop data processing and evaluation infrastructure for foundation model training.
• Maintain autonomy to shape products and influence AI deployment.
