Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, large data sets, real-time processing, and business management software. You will work individually or in teams, review and tests, and contribute to system design decisions that balance hardware and software trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Full-stack development experience on complex software systems.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python with strong debugging skills.
• Experience deploying with Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Knowledge of analyst applications and data-oriented workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance targets.
• Debug existing software and fix defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead at the appropriate level for the project.
• Design or implement complex database interfaces/queries.
• Develop algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures.
• Modify software to adapt to new hardware or performance needs.
• Oversee software development teams and ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor operation.
