Job Profile

As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC's Finance Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.

Job Requirements and Skills

• Finance and Accounting knowledge
• SQL queries
• Crystal Reports or other comparable reporting tools
• Strong communication with the Technology and Finance team
• Data mapping between source application files to Frontier
• Frontier Application Administration, including support and build tasks or comparable reconciliation tools
• Understanding Finance requirements (match rules) and developing solutions/designs that meet application/business needs

Responsibilities

• Align business strategy with software solutions.
• Propose, design, and code software solutions to address complex business needs; oversee technical and procedural documentation.
• Lead complex problem solving.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
• Display innovative approach using modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

• Competencies: Application Design, Architecture, Packaged Application Integration, Product and Vendor Evaluation, Software Process Improvement (SPI), System Development Life Cycle, Technical Troubleshooting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• No required certifications or licenses.

Salary Transparency

Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $187,200.00.
