Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.
• 2+ years of experience with React.
• Experience with Go, TypeScript, and/or SQL.
• Experience with designing scalable data processing pipelines with BigQuery or other analytics databases.
• Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, HL7 FHIR.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ship Scalable Features: Design, build, and test high-quality components powering Verily’s data‑driven health platforms.
• Optimize System Reliability: Diagnose and eliminate complex software defects, prioritizing root‑cause fixes over patches.
• Own Project Delivery: Drive features autonomously from concept to execution, creating structured development plans and timelines.
• Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Partner across engineering and product teams to define requirements and architect innovative solutions.
• Scale Your Impact: Master ambiguous problem spaces, generating technical ideas that expand your scope beyond just writing code.
