Job summary

Praise Tech Solutions is seeking a software professional to drive API delivery within a Scrum framework. You will work with product owners to define capabilities and testing scenarios, and collaborate across an Agile team to design, develop, test, and support data-centric applications.

The role focuses on Snowflake-based ETL processing, optimized data loads, and building robust, scalable data pipelines. Remote US-based location with opportunities to contribute across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in Scrum for API delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
• Understanding of application capabilities and testing scenarios with product owners.
• Ability to design, develop and support end-to-end software solutions across full-stack tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all SDLC phases: analysis, design, planning, development, testing, CICD, release, and post-production support.
• Develop optimized Snowflake ETL processes for structured and semi-structured JSON data with performance tuning.
• Create Snowflake tasks with cron-based data loads and ensure timely data delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to drive platform efficiency across services.

Job description

Job Duties:

• Participate in Scrum for API delivery, involving working with various stakeholders and guide the team on timely delivery
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Agile team to design, develop, test, implement and support application technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, technical design, planning, development, testing / CICD, release, and post production / escalation support
• Develop optimized snowflake JavaScript ETL processing procedures for structured and semi-structured JSON data, using optimal performance tuning techniques to manage and process large datasets, including load concepts such as incremental load (SCD-I), truncated load, and soft delete
• Create Snowflake tasks with cron job scheduling to monitor data loads, ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Apply the appropriate software engineering patterns to build robust and scalable systems
• Build partnerships with other technology teams to drive efficiency in their use of platforms and services that are provided
