Job Description

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support a newly awarded five-year contract related to intelligence, sensors, and analytics at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Position Details

  • Full Time, Aberdeen, MD
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Sign-on Bonus: $3,000
  • Referral Bonus: $2,000

Responsibilities

  • Support PM IS&A modernization efforts, including creating software/hardware architectures and integrating emerging technologies.
  • Review and contribute to software requirements based on overarching IS&A needs.
  • Assist in software engineering activities for current systems transitioning into sustainment.
  • Analyze and assess complex systems for integration into future Army systems.
  • Manage the full software lifecycle and update configuration management plans.
  • Develop and synchronize software processes and policies across engineering teams.
  • Manage DevSecOps and ML Ops pipelines, ensuring accreditation and supporting project onboarding and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with interoperability testing, intelligence systems, and complex software integration.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense system engineering processes.
  • Experience building web applications in cloud environments supporting intelligence operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems, Software, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience.

Travel

Less than 10% travel expected, within the US and internationally.
