Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build from scratch, own features end-to-end, and move fast in a remote-first environment. You’ll work on internal tools, services, and AI-driven infrastructure, collaborating with product and design to turn ideas into working solutions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, strong JS/TS, React, and Node.js, and a track record of scaling products in high-growth startups. AWS, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL experience are desired.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js across the full stack.
• Experience as an early member of an engineering team, helping a startup grow and scale over time.
• A track record of building and scaling products in high-growth startup environments.
• AI-native mindset: actively use AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.
• Experience taking products from idea to production and adapting systems as the business grows.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS or similar), and modern backend architectures.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity, independent decision-making, ownership, and shipping mindset.

You'll work on the internal tools, services, and workflows that power our operations, products, and AI-driven infrastructure.

• Comfortable working with ambiguity, making decisions independently, and taking ownership of your work.
• A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a bias toward shipping.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NestJS, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or DevOps.
• Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or workflow automation.
• Exposure to AI-powered or data-heavy products.
• Experience improving architecture and engineering processes as a startup scales.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and system reliability.

Benefits

• The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $120,000 –$160,000 USD.
