Job summary

Nominal in Austin, TX is seeking software engineers-in-training who are on track to graduate Summer 2027 or sooner. As a software engineer, you will work closely with world-class engineers solving high-impact problems on hardware and software integrated systems, including nuclear reactors, rockets, and supersonic aircraft as part of an early-stage company.

You will dive into data infrastructure, build features with customers, and take ownership of projects from start to finish while receiving

• Take the driver’s seat at an early-stage company, helping Nominal grow, onboarding new customers, and expanding its product offerings, while contributing to our mission of accelerating the testing and validation landscape for complex hardware systems.

The role

We’re looking for students with solid engineering fundamentals on track to graduate in Summer 2027 or sooner.
