Job summary

Ignite seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and support NAMIS applications for NASA aircraft management. The role supports a small team or independent work, emphasizing clean code, attention to detail, and rapid learning across AI/ML, space and missile defense analytics.

You will engage in full lifecycle development, documentation updates, and collaboration with users to ensure system requirements are met while exploring new technologies as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and ASP.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with SPAs (Angular or Blazor) and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server and reporting services.

Responsibilities

• Full life-cycle software development from requirements to deployment.
• Maintain and update existing NAMIS applications and documentation.
• Develop test procedures and perform unit testing.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver features.
• Learn new technologies as needed.
