Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer, Mid to resolve problems with end‑to‑end software solutions in a fast, agile environment. You will work to develop software and systems from vision to production readiness, contributing across architecture and implementation.

You will apply backend frameworks, REST APIs, and NiFi while aligning with DoD 8570 certifications and security requirements. This role requires JS/JEE experience, Linux skills, and a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with object‑oriented programming languages, including Java or JEE.
• Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
• Experience with API development, including REST architectural style.
• Experience with Linux OS and command line interface.
• Experience with NiFi.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date.

We’re looking for an engineer with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production‑ready.

Responsibilities

This role is more than just coding. You’ll help ensure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation

Salary range is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range for this position is based on location, education, skills, and experience. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
