We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Data Management team. This role focuses on the development, customization, and integration of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using ETL tools. This person would maintain the highest data quality standards demanded by Gartner utilizing multiple state‑of‑the‑art technologies in data engineering, data operations and data mastering in a cloud‑based environment.
You will participate in the technical design, development, and deployment of innovative data solutions. Your expertise in AWS Cloud, SQS, SQL, Glue, Python, PostgreSQL, and Agile methodologies will guide the team towards successful project completion.
Analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement functionality related to Data Management.
Build and maintain Data Pipelines using SQL, Ataccama and AWS technologies like Glue and Python.
Build and configure web services, Event Driven Architecture components.
Utilize Master Data Management tools like Ataccama and in‑house tools to ensure filtering, mastering, and data quality rules are appropriately enabled and adequately tested.
Engage in day‑to‑day data operations involving troubleshooting data pipelines and monitoring and maintaining job schedules.
Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product managers and designers, to align technical and business requirements.
Follow best practices and industry standards while implementing Data Engineering and Mastering function.
Strong IT professional with minimum 2 years of experience in cloud‑based data engineering, preferably in ETL and AWS. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
Proficient in utilizing AWS services.
Excellent SQL and data analytics skills – ability to look at complex stored procedures and troubleshoot performance issues.
Experience in PostgreSQL or similar cloud‑based DB.
Experience working with AWS Glue.
Experience in Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Operations.
Good knowledge of cloud technology AWS, Azure, and exposure to cloud tools.
Proficiency in either Python/Java programming.
Basic understanding of MDM fundamentals and domains.
Experience with Atacama would be a huge advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
Attitude and aptitude to learn, collaborate, and work towards common goals of the team. Must be a team player.
Able to work independently or within but interact with a team proactively collaboratively in a fast‑paced AGILE‑SCRUM environment.
Owns success – takes responsibility for the successful delivery.
Feels strongly about the importance of Master Data and will do your best to improve its quality and trust across the organization.
