Job summary

Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe, is hiring post-grad engineers to own projects from concept to launch. You’ll ship features for a high-velocity marketplace, building scalable systems and owning critical services with autonomy and strong product instincts.

The role supports remote work or hub-based collaboration in Los Angeles, New York, SF, or Seattle, and requires graduating in 2027 with a CS/Software Eng degree.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a CS or Software Engineering degree by Summer 2027.
• Comfortable building scalable systems and shipping products quickly.
• Strong product instincts and user-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for users in live-streams and scale buyer/seller flows.
• Design, implement, and operate scalable services with high reliability.
• Write product or system development code and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Support features from design through implementation and launch.
• Triage issues and debug across networks and services.
