Position

Software Engineer – Level 3/4, Redondo Beach, CA.Relocation assistance may be available.Clearance required at start: SCI.Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

Develop and sustain several mission‑operational software product lines and new capabilities coordinated with a restricted SCI customer. Work with a large team of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus, to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of the customer’s national security mission.

Basic Qualifications

• Level 3: 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (3 years with a Master’s, 1 year with a PhD, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Level 4: 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (6 years with a Master’s, 4 years with a PhD, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Active SSBI required at the time of application, with ability to obtain SCI prior to start.
• Advanced object‑oriented programming skills.
• Proficiency with C++ programming.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• DevSecOps and test automation experience.
• Programming/scripting languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Perl.
• Strong skills in mathematics and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Agile scrum process and experience on an Agile team.
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
• Experience developing in a Linux environment using Git.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Salary

Primary Level: $114,000–$171,000. Secondary Level: $142,200–$213,400. Salary is determined by scope of responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions.
