Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer - Level 2 in Redondo Beach, CA or Aurora, CO to develop and sustain mission software. You will join a large team across subsystems, focusing on scalable backend services and modern APIs.

The role requires an active SCI or TS clearance, a degree with relevant experience, and strong OOP and Agile skills. Relocation assistance may be available and travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience or Master's degree.
• Active SCI at time of application or active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience with server-side languages (C++, Python, Node.js, Go or Java).
• Experience designing RESTful, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
• Proficient in Agile and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container runtimes.
• Experience Linux development and Git workflows.
• Strong math, algorithms, and communication skills.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
