Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead in the Asset Management Group. Based in multiple US offices including Pittsburgh, Dallas, Cleveland, Birmingham, or Denver, you will guide design and development of software solutions and mentor engineers.

You will lead code reviews, drive API design, and ensure robust Java/Spring and Angular front-end work, with Oracle databases and Agile practices. Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes is preferred, and Python is a plus.

As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Denver, CO.

Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software Engineers. Candidates should have experience with the following:

• Proven experience in a Software Development Lead or similar leadership role
• Strong background in code reviews, mentoring, and team development
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework
• Front-end development expertise using Angular framework
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs
• Database experience with Oracle
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with Python (preferred)
