Job summary
PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead in its Asset Management Group, based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Denver, CO. You will lead software design and development efforts and mentor a team of engineers to deliver robust solutions.
The role emphasizes API design, Java/Spring, Angular frontend, Oracle database, and Agile practices, with preferred Python experience. This is an in‑office opportunity with strong emphasis on collaboration and customer‑focused
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
- Experience leading software development teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Proven experience with Java and Spring Framework; strong Angular frontend skills.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs; Oracle database experience.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of containerization/orchestration tools such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Python experience is preferred.

- Proven experience in a Software Development Lead or similar leadership role

Base Salary: $40,000.00 – $158,125.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 06/16/2026, although it may be longer with business discretion.
