Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 7 Years’ experience in Application development
• At least 4 Years’ experience in Java
• At least 4 years of experience in Spring
• At least 4 Years’ experience as a Technical Lead
• At least 1 year of experience working on Cloud technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 1+ year experience working with Big Data Technologies such as Apache Storm, Apache APEX and Hadoop
• 6+ Years’ experience in Java, Unix, Oracle and SQL Server
• 3+ Years’ experience in COTS products
• 4+ Years’ experience in DBMS such as Oracle, SQL server, SQL scripting, tuning and scheduling
• Area-dependent developer certification (e.g. Sun Certified Java - Programmer/Developer, application vendor-specific certification)
• AWS Cloud experience

Responsibilities

These role require individual contributor for coding on a daily basis. Looking for candidates with strong dev ops experience, and for the role in Mclean having hands on AWS experience would be a plus. Also having prior tech lead/management experience is a plus.
