BizFirst is assisting our client by recruiting a Software Engineer Level 3 for an Intelligence Community mission at Fort Meade, MD. This full-time, onsite role requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and offers full benefits.

You will develop and support complex software systems using Java and Spring Boot and contribute to frontend web applications, with exposure to microservices and AWS/ECR ecosystems.

Qualifications

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting an experienced Software Engineer for an Intelligence Community mission support role in Fort Meade, MD. This full-time, onsite position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Our client is a Woman Owned Small Business that has supported U.S. defense and intelligence missions since 2012. Founded by two engineers, its systems, software, and hardware engineering teams model, analyze, design, integrate, develop, and deploy complex mission systems side by side with government customers, and the company also builds rugged RF hardware for specialized SIGINT applications. It works alongside many of the largest national security integrators and operates from Columbia, Maryland, near Fort Meade.

What will you do

Develop and support complex software systems using Java and Spring Boot, and develop front-end web applications. You will apply microservices deployment patterns and test software components against documented design requirements. The role calls for RKE skills and some familiarity with the AWS/ECR suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end web applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements. These systems may include processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithms, extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems.
• Apply working knowledge of microservices deployment patterns.
• Use testing frameworks to review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 12 years of experience in software engineering, or 16 years of experience in software engineering without a degree.
• Specific knowledge of the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience developing front-end web applications.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Working knowledge of microservices deployment patterns.
• Experience using testing frameworks and reviewing and testing software components against design requirements.
