Job summary

MicroEJ is a software vendor delivering embedded and IoT solutions. In Boston, the Software Engineer Java/Kotlin will join our Customer Care and R&D teams to develop and integrate middleware for the MicroEJ VEE platform.

You will work on real-time, multi-threaded architectures, JNI interfaces, and cloud/IoT integrations while collaborating with top customers in smart home, appliances and industry. The role welcomes all experience levels, emphasizes learning, and offers up to 50% remote work and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in software engineering.
• Experience with Java and Kotlin development.
• Strong OOP and multithreading skills.
• Exposure to IoT or embedded environments is a plus.

As Software Engineer Java Kotlin, you will be part of our Customer Care and R&D teams, you are in contact with the top #5 companies in the following market segments: Smart home, home appliances, wearables, industry, energy, medical . You actively develop and integrate middleware into Powered by MicroEJ products, and are responsible for:

• Real time and multi-threaded software architectures


• Libraries and applications based on MicroEJ Virtual Execution Environment


• Supporting our customers to build smarter devices.

Managing projects or team of developers can also be part of your responsibilities.

You have a masters degree in software engineering and skills in Java programming.
