Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr – $235,000.00/yr

Required Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (CI or FS)
• At least fourteen (14) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.) or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (05) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Must have demonstrated in-depth experience with Java
• Must have experience or familiarity with multiple Java frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA, EJB, JTA, Servlet, Jackson, Jersey, Swing, JavaFX)
• Must have experience or familiarity with multiple of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Groovy, SQL
• Must have experience with development IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, WebStorm
• Must have experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server
• Must have experience with Web Application UI development, knowledge of databases and structures, Spring Framework, or experience with AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT
• Must have experience with software source control and configuration management tools
• Must have experience with technologies underlying cryptographic systems (symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, ASN.1 encoding, XML canonicalization, digital signatures)
• Must have experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Must have documented professional experience with web services
• Must have a strong understanding of sound software development principles and practices
• Must be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Must be an independent thinker capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team in a fast‑moving environment

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Experience with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), SQL, application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss), Spring, scripting
• Experience or familiarity with XML/XSD/SOAP/WSDL/XSLT, REST, JSON, YAML, Containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery
• Experience with Testing and Mocking frameworks: JUnit, Jupiter, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Cucumber, Unified Functional Tester, Selenium, FITNesse
• Experience with build tools: Maven, CMake, RPM, Jenkins, Nexus
• Experience with high level requirements management including requirements decomposition, secure systems engineering and development, trade‑off analysis, interface control, testing and continuous integration
• Experience in software development on Agile teams (Pair Programming, TDD, Refactoring, ATDD)
• Experience with BDD
• Secure Software development (Layer 7 Policy)
• Experience with Scrum, SAFe methodology, SAFe Agile certification, or experience as a member of an Agile team
