IPFS in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Software Engineer IV - Azure to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions. You will work with .NET Core, C#, Angular, and SQL Server to deliver robust APIs and services.

You’ll prioritize delivery, collaborate across teams, and mentor others while adapting to new languages and platforms to meet project needs.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of web development using C# and SQL Server.
Proficiency with .NET Framework/.NET Core, WebAPI, Angular and Azure Functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy software using C#, .NET Core, Angular, and Azure.
Design APIs and database schemas to meet functional and technical requirements.
Collaborate across teams and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
Maintain SDLC processes and continuously improve solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Software Engineer IV - Azure

Job Summary

Assist in the development, implementation, and management of technology-based business solutions. Code, test, and implement configuration changes. Design software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. Adapt to new languages, methodologies, and platforms to meet the needs of the project.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Angular development using .Net Core APIs hosted in Azure
Support of code through SDLC into production
Troubleshooting and support of production environment
Codes, test, and debugs technology-based applications
Analyzes, designs, coordinates and supervises the development of software systems
Communicates with engineers and support staff regarding programming needs and performance
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommend changes
Researches and recommends software tools to management
Communicate effectively with peers
Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
Participate in and/or lead code reviews as necessary to ensure compliance with established programming standards
