Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing cloud-native microservices.
• Experience building high-volume, highly available distributed systems.
• Experience with event-driven messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and code review experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of new features for the marketplace purchase and payment platforms.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Design and develop cloud-native microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, technical guidance, and best engineering practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
• Drive continuous improvement through modern software engineering practices and architectural enhancements.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer IV to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend solutions for a high-volume eCommerce platform. This role will focus on enhancing payment infrastructure, building cloud-native microservices, and driving engineering excellence through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, AWS, Kafka, SQL, and microservices architecture, along with experience building highly available, distributed systems.

• Contract Duration: 9 Months
• Rate Range: $58–68/hr on W2
• Only W2 Candidates, NO C2C
