Meta in Austin, TX seeks a seasoned Software Engineer - iOS with strong technical leadership to guide cross-functional teams across mobile and web platforms. You will drive long-term roadmaps, shape architecture, and elevate product quality through scalable solutions.

You will mentor engineers, influence stakeholders, and partner with product, design, and platform teams to deliver impactful results while managing performance and debt across large initiatives.

5. 12+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR 8+ years experience with a PhD

6. Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which short-term projects ladder to the long-term mission

7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

1. Experience developing iOS media infrastructure and platforms

2. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

3. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

4. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

$219,000/year to $301,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
