Job summary

Gravitate is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our growing technology team for Summer 2027. You’ll write real production software alongside senior engineers with a dedicated mentor and ramp support.

The 12-week onsite internship in Dallas offers hands-on projects, sprint involvement, and the chance for a full-time offer after graduation. You’ll gain exposure to the fuel supply and logistics domain and modern tech stack (Python, .NET, TypeScript, React).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a Summer 2028 graduation.
• Hands-on coding experience from coursework, personal projects, open source contributions, or prior internships.
• Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in Python, .NET (C#), TypeScript, or React.
• Willing to work onsite in Dallas for the full 12 weeks and be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own well-defined tasks within your team's product area, with support and direction from a senior engineer.
• Make reliable progress against sprint goals; ask for help quickly when blocked.
• Participate in code reviews, take feedback, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Build up knowledge of the fuel supply and logistics industry and related domain concepts.
• Learn the team's established design patterns and conventions, and why they're used.
• Write clean, tested code with guidance and validate your work before it reaches review.
• Communicate early and often — provide clear status in standups and concise PR descriptions.
