Job Description

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work alongside some of the best and brightest engineering talents in the industry. As an integral member of your team, you will estimate engineering efforts, design and implement solutions, test and deploy your changes, and help triage production issues. You should be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems that power some of the world's largest e-commerce and payments websites at a scale few companies can match.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable front-end and/or back-end software using technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, React, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable code; develop and optimize databases; and ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Follow software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, internal standards, coding conventions, and best practices while making technical decisions with appropriate guidance.
• Collaborate with managers, project leads, peers, and cross-functional partners—including design, product, and other business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in code and design reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and development practices.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar.
• Familiarity with software development concepts, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and debugging.
• Experience developing projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

• This is a Summer 2027 Internship program. Spring and Fall 2027 internships are not available.
