As a Sophomore intern Software Engineer, you will contribute to meaningful work, learn through workshops, and present your project outcomes to Visa leaders. In-office presence is required for at least 3 days.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS/CE/CIS or related field.
• Graduating in 2028–2029 window.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with self-serve deployment of Kafka clusters using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop a natural language chatbot for knowledge base searches.
• Prototype solutions for automated payments at gas stations.
• Automate processes with low-latency algorithms.
• Enhance Visa Checkout usability across platforms.
• Create testing tools to identify system errors.
• Build visual monitoring tools for transactions.
• Support full software lifecycle and secure coding practices.
