Job summary

TikTok is seeking interns to join its E-commerce Recommendation Infra team for a 12-week summer program. You will work on high-performance services for the TikTok recommendation system, and help build scalable data pipelines and large-scale models.

Qualified candidates are pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in CS/CE/SE with experience in C/C++, Java, or Golang, and possess strong communication and ownership skills.

Qualifications

• Must commit to a 12-week full-time internship during Summer 2027.
• Pursuing an Undergraduate or Masters degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in programming with C, C++, Java or Golang.
• Strong communication and sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high performance online services for TikTok recommendation system.
• Develop efficient data pipelines for candidates/profile generation and training data.
• Collaborate with a mentor to contribute to a globalized, large-scale recommendation system.
• Design and develop high performance computing and storage frameworks.
