Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Chicago. You’ll work closely with mentors to build real-world applications for a global trading firm, delivering production-ready code and tackling performance, reliability, and scalability challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience or coursework in building scalable software is a plus.
