Job summary

Figma is seeking software engineering interns to join small, collaborative teams at our San Francisco or New York hubs with a January 4, 2027 start date. You will work with mentors to ship meaningful features, tools, or systems and grow in a supportive environment.

You'll explore areas like product, platform/infrastructure, security, or open roles, and contribute to projects aligned with team goals. Prior internship projects include FigJam improvements and shared fonts.

Qualifications

• Experience writing clean code in at least one general-purpose language (e.g. C++, JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience solving technical problems through projects or coursework.

Responsibilities

• Be embedded on a Figma engineering team.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and QA to plan timelines.
• Build, document, and maintain tests, features, or infrastructure.
• Ship your project(s) by the end of your internship.
