Job summary

F5 seeks motivated interns for its Summer Internship Program in Seattle, WA. You will collaborate with engineers to design, build, and test scalable systems across backend, DevOps, and learning-focused projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, mentorship, and exposure to data-driven development. Eligible students will be pursuing a CS/SE/IT/CE degree and have ongoing coursework for the duration of the 12-week program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field in the United States.
• Must have at least two additional quarters/semesters of school remaining after internship.
• Must be enrolled at an accredited US college/university.
• Demonstrated experience programming in an object-oriented language (Python/Go/Java/C#/C).
• Knowledge of CS fundamentals (Data Structures and Algorithms).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real-world projects and product development cycles.
• Design, implement, and test code in a collaborative environment.
• Analyze requirements, test features, and integrate components into applications.
• Create technical documentation for designs and new features.
• Participate in design and code reviews to learn best practices and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with project team to develop data-driven solutions.
