Job summary

Stripe offers an internship program where you’ll work on projects across our stack, owning problems end to end with guidance from your manager and teammates. You’ll contribute to Stripe's codebase and learn how to ship high-quality work at scale.

Our interns collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to payments, fraud controls, payouts, and AI tooling while developing fundamental software skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, math, or related discipline.
• Experience through internships/open source projects showing learning from mentors and peers.
• Experience coding and collaborating in multi-person software projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as a core member of the team, participate in design discussions and decisions.
• Write production-grade software with real impact on Stripe's users.
• Provide and receive feedback through code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
• Learn quickly, communicate status clearly, and leverage AI tooling in development.
