Job description

Position Opening: Software Engineer Intern

The Sofware Engineer intern will aid in the design implementations, maintenance and improvement of medical device software systems for the endoscopic imaging. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge on PENTAX Medical’s ENT products and core systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team or independently to design, develop, and test software including applications, services and Windows components
• Diagnose, debug and correct software discrepancies or issues
• Cross department collaboration with design team to deliver commitments within a given deadline
• Software verification and validation processes
• Maintain engineering specifications and other technical documentation
• Adherence to quality management systems and working within a regulated environment
• Provide areas of improvement on the development systems and associated lifecycle processes
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Programming and algorithm skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills – must be able to develop presentations and present ideas
