Job summary

Tenex is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer Intern to join our core engineering team in San Jose. The 12-week program requires 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site at the San Jose office.

This is a paid internship with fixed 30-hour weekly compensation, not benefits-eligible, relocation not covered. Join a fast-growing AI-native MDR startup and gain hands-on experience on scalable backend and frontend systems.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous related experience in software engineering (coursework, projects, internships).
• Experience with Go, Python, or equivalent backend language.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as Next.js, TypeScript, React, Vue.js, or equivalent.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and documentation.

About Our Intern Program:

• Internships are available year round. Our internship opportunity is a 12 week program.
• Position requires 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• This is a paid internship, based on a fixed 30‑hour workweek, with compensation paid semi‑monthly.
• On‑site attendance is required daily in the San Jose office.
• This internship is not benefits‑eligible; health insurance is not provided.
• Relocation and commuting expenses are not covered by the company.
