Job summary

West Point Insurance Services is seeking a skilled .NET developer to join our agile software team in Florida. You will participate in the full software development life cycle, design and build solutions, and contribute to QA and deployment to support our SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of programming experience, strong ownership, and the ability to learn new technologies. A hybrid schedule with office days is offered and compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

3-5 years of programming experience in .NET environments.
Experience in full lifecycle delivery and agile teams.
Strong ownership, urgency and drive to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well with people and learn new technologies.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud-based SaaS architectures is a plus.
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry a PLUS.

Responsibilities

Participate fully in an Agile team with the full software development life cycle.
Design, build and produce software solutions with guidance.
Perform software and data analysis to debug and fix defects.
Run tests, review results and perform root cause analyses.
Identify, implement and support technical solutions to deliver business requirements.
Seek out new tools to analyze and solve problems.
Continuously learn to be an effective cross-functional team member.
Deliver high-quality code within sprint timelines.
Provide go-live support when needed.
