Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or compute/storage/hardware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of distributed privacy infrastructure for large-scale data governance tasks.
• Build and integrate GenAI-driven solutions and agentic frameworks to automate complex compliance workflows.
• Manage and optimize production execution pipelines to ensure high availability and performance of privacy-critical systems.
• Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Technical Program Managers to translate privacy policies into robust requirements.
• Own the full technical project lifecycle from architecture to deployment and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development using C++, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures, algorithms, system design, or large-scale data processing systems.
• Experience developing accessible technologies and user-centric developer tools.
• Experience building and deploying Generative AI applications, agentic workflows, or LLM-based automation tools in production environments.
• Ability to own full end-to-end technical aspects of projects with attention to detail, working effectively with cross-functional partners (PM, TPM, UX, Legal/Policy) and a keen interest in internet privacy.

We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Salary
