Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a software engineer to join our platform team focused on infrastructure systems. You will help build and scale reliable services for an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant security platform, while giving product engineers the tools to move quickly.

Hybrid in San Francisco, CA. 4+ years of experience in distributed systems, backend Go, and cloud production experience with AWS or GCP are expected. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience building distributed systems.
• Backend experience on a platform or infrastructure team, not just operations.
• Strong fundamentals and large-scale distributed system design.
• Experience with enterprise workloads or multi-tenant SaaS.
• Backend development in Go or similar systems language.
• Production experience with AWS or GCP including deployment, scaling, monitoring.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka.
• Experience building internal developer platforms is a plus.

About the Role

Join the platform team at a venture-backed identity security company as a software engineer focused on infrastructure systems. You will help build and scale reliable services for an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant security platform, while giving product engineers the tools to move quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Improve the stability, security, scalability, and performance of critical platform infrastructure.

• Own key infrastructure components and make architectural decisions with significant autonomy.

• Build tools, systems, and best practices that help product engineers develop and ship software efficiently.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership on technical roadmaps and architecture.

• Work with enterprise customers to understand product feedback and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

• Help establish and improve engineering practices across the platform team.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience building distributed systems.

• Experience developing backend services and systems on a platform or infrastructure team, rather than focusing only on infrastructure operations.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing systems for large-scale distributed environments.

• Experience building or scaling systems for enterprise workloads or multi-tenant SaaS.

• Backend development experience in Go or a comparable systems programming language.

• Production experience with AWS or GCP, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka.

• Experience building internal developer platforms or tools used by product engineering teams is valuable.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
