Job summary

Vedasoft Inc in the United States seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and execute automated tests across web, API, UI, and performance domains. You will work with C#, Python or Java, build test plans, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

Candidates should have strong white-box testing, NUnit/JUnit experience, and familiarity with SQL Server, Agile/SCRUM, and Microsoft Test Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of scripting and/or programming languages for test verification and automation (C#, Python or Java). 2+ years of related programming experience required.
• Experience with Test Automation frameworks such as NUnit, JUnit or others.
• White box testing techniques: Control flow, Statement/Path/Decision coverage.
• Knowledge of quality engineering practices, philosophies, and techniques.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM techniques.
• Basic understanding of RDBMS (SQL Server).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in a team.
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Test Manager.
• Experience with Telerik Test Studio is desirable but not required.
• Ability to plan, create and execute test plans and test cases in a fast-paced environment.
• 7+ years implementing automated test solutions using various tools.

Additional Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with Implementing and utilizing automated test solutions using different tools - open source and off-the-shelf Automation tools.
• Good understanding of Internet/Web applications in terms of Hosting, Domain Name System (DNS), Application Programming Interface (API), server/client architecture, etc.
• Knowledge of the continuous integration of code and related processes
• Sound knowledge of version control/Configuration Management systems.
