We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Image Analyst and Software Engineer to provide software engineering, database management, computer systems support, and engineering imagery analysis capabilities to the Engineering Photographic Analysis (EPA) Team at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing specialized software applications, databases, websites, and supporting computer systems used in engineering imagery analysis for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) Program. This position requires a technically versatile professional with strong software engineering capabilities, experience maintaining complex technical applications, and an interest in applying those capabilities to engineering-imagery processing and analysis.

The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated and technically versatile software engineering professional who combines strong computer science, application development, and database management capabilities with an interest in engineering imagery analysis.
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to independently maintain established software systems, investigate and resolve complex technical problems, and develop innovative, sustainable solutions to support evolving engineering requirements.
The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing ongoing software maintenance and operational support with new development activities and opportunities to participate in engineering imagery analysis.
