The Allen Institute is seeking a Software Engineer III for the Neural Dynamics team to develop, maintain, and deploy software that accelerates large-scale neurophysiology data analysis. You will work with computational scientists to ensure sustainable pipelines and mentor others in software development best practices.

Required: 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor's in CS or related field. Preferred: Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions in a hybrid Seattle-area role.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop scientific analysis software.
• Follow team practices: unit/integration tests, code reviews, issue tracking, version control, and documentation.
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor core services in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Build and deploy end-to-end testing infrastructure for data processing pipelines.
